Poem

Where I'm From
By Jin Lee
I am from the land of dim,
from the navy and blue with red.
I am from the water dropping down the bleach
I am from the land of buisiness
the sound of steps everywhere
everybody running wherever I was
as if they were needed to save somebody's life

I'm from the potato and lamb,
from bread and apple
I'm fro mthe thickest chips
and the grassy field,
from silverware! and cuisine!
I'm from the heart of Europe
with a meatball
and baked beans aound me.

I'm from the greatest empire and wealth,
as if india, South Africa, etc. were my own.
From the island of peace, place for holidays.
for the giggles and smiles,
the Capital of Castles.

Only the special to the left
being only tiny bit of space standing alone,
by itself having a party
When others busy
I am from the nation
leaving my footprints and traces
weathers pass by over,
without any seconds of stillness.
