Clue 5

1. Who is Effie waiting for?
Effie was waiting for Jesus to come through him, meet her for once to know exactly what to do during her life, which will help her a lot.
2. (1)"There has to be thunder, or he won't come."-he has written this becuase he wanted to reveal and increase suspense from the reader that how God in real life comes to us, and gives examples of the situation.
(2)"On a cloud," she whispered. "A big black cloud.-he wanted to explain that how God relates to us into our lives, also to exaggerate the God's moves inside the story.
(3)"That's his favourite colour." (They were purple.)-he's trying to say that God has made his will come truth, and he's always right and generous who does goods for us.
3. Can non-Christian authors reveal truth about God's world?
They can but normally they wouldn't write things about God, which they don't even know much about. Otherwise, the author might have bit of trouble to deal with religious people becuase he says things about their world under God's control wrongly. It might be offensive to some of them. Also if they do, they might want to include something through the story and characterize his thoughts, and explain wy he doesn't believe in God,which would be included as a theme of the story in novel.

1)What is the theme of "About Effie"?
The theme of "About Effie" is to get audience know what God is, also to make them understand with actually get into the story easily and hook them with Christianity plot with personalizing with main character, and the God. This would fulfill author's expectations towards the reader to get to know who is Jesus.
2)Psalm 147:3-"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.", this is the verse that I think which relates to the story, because it exactly explains about God's movements toward our life and whathe does to us, and how he normally like towards us.

Clue 4

1. What specific clues can setting reveal about the theme of a short story?
About the character in the stories, or even little characters that comes out of the story with giving the details of direct or inderect, towards the audience. Which basically means to give characterization.
2. How does an author drop clues about characters and how their actions lead you to the theme of a story?
Author should give information about each main characters or enough detail through the plot, so the reader could easily understand the theme of the story and gives clue, and gradually lead to hook them into the novel.
3. I think God revealed me to go to UK without any specific plan, and it encountered in my own life to make me be able to learn things that I would never get chance to experience, if I didn't think about even going there just because it was too buden for me to take in so suddenly. Therefore it makes this strongest setting I ever had as a encountering situation, it convinced me that it's the most important turning point during my life.

1) I admire person like president of Korea or USA because they both have came to the position which are ultimate, also it's the job which are most valued and responsibled for many of the issues in the world now. The reason I admire those people is because I saw their past view in the autobiography, both of them grew up in really hard background but they still managed to become how they are now. For example like Korea, he lost everything however he had dream into the future so he became mayor of Seoul, president in one of the best car industrial production company 'Hyundai' then finally became president that he always dreamed of from the beginning.I think all these procedure was planned from the God because I heard that he was always inside the faith of Jesus, never had doubted him.
That's why it always make me wonder that how they do that, bring me to challenge things.

Clue3

1.You can figure out a theme in a short story by 4 steps process procedure, and it's first you need to look at the title, then also the main characters to compare and help you to understand what the story going to be and whole theme based on. This time, is to find climax from the story so it matches from what you have thought of and just to check if it's similar to what real theme is going to be, for the last step is to resolute all the bits and put all the ideas together to figure out the basic plot of the literature.

2.The theme of "The Utterly Perfect Murder" is basically a mentally ill person become a murderer and from that point of view, he become more mental and can't control himself properly however there is a new person he meets then he kind of help him out to cange this event over around. This relate to my life that during life time, there is always going to be something which is going to help me out from appalling situation and point when I choose totally wrong direction of something.

3.A moral of a story different from a theme that theme is based on telling the audience what the basic plot or characteristics going to have, but moral of any story aims for the educational or even precepts from the story so the audience can relate to their living either get what the story tries to tell you the resolute of the theme.

4.It's more likely to be a moral statement for me because there is not much of a theme from this passage but it does have a teaching from what God declaring to us, that if we believe him we will ascend to good place after death on earth however if not we would be perished. The truth i might find in literaure which gave similarities with this are which gives useful lesson that we could probably learn.

Clue 6

1.a)Metaphor: It's a figure of speech and used to compare similar 2 objects in some way together in languages, it's known for using as literatures and followed by the simile.

Simile: It's also a figure of speech but the difference is that it compares 2 objects which are unlike, and often uses 'like' or 'as' propositions in sentences.

b)Authors uses figurative languages in their stories or even any of their writing because figurative language help them to create the story's theme or moral outstanding, by showing easy descriptive languages used to give out images of the main idea of the plot summarized from inside the literatures.
As we learned from the past, it also support the hooking the audience part because it interests the audience and make them gets into the literal activity.

2.1)The boy was tall as 3 inch-tree.
2)She laughs with deep, throaty voice that was like how dogs make sound.
3)His face was so round oval shaped, which had its two sides gently.

3.Exodus 35:2: God demands that everyone should be killed that works on the sabbath day
Deuteronomy 21:18-21: God demands we kill disobedient teenagers
Deuteronomy 22:13-21: God demands that we kill women whom are not virgins when they marry

4.These metaphors reveal about God's world and my understanding of them that the God has hated and wanted to abandon all sorts of mankind, who were behaving and being such a disgrace towards him. Although it makes me realise from the verses how strict and things we mustn't do with careful on every action we take during our life, so we don't put disgrace in front of his name.

what is beauty?
Beauty is a adjective that describes things by the physical appearance, which are beautiful and attractive looking. Also examining features by the quality of them.

In God's point of view, the adjective beauty is meant for the beauty of nature because things that he created on earth are so detailed which are incredible and amazing view.

Clue 2

1.-Without Jesus, we wouldn't have existed

-Through him, our sins has been forgiven

-Because of him, everything was made out from Christ

-We were able to understand him better by the John, who came for us

after the call of Jesus



2.Marigolds story was basically to make us and understand about different kind of situation that we are going to face throughout our life, and also how to behave when we need to apologize to someone effectively



3.The reader's reponse from here could be that they were surprised how could these things can happen in the story and quite confused why did the kid done those awful things to the old woman, who is just bit of strange and different from normal people

It might have affected reader noticing how could this situation be solved, when the lady didn't accepted the apology from the kid
